Building Meaningful Relationships, One Connection at a Time
I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Nationally Certified Counselor for over 25 years. I earned my Masters Degree in 1996 in Rehabilitation Counseling with an Emphasis in Deafness from Western Oregon University. My top priority is the safety and well-being of the children and their families that I provide mental health counseling to. The clients I serve have a wide range of needs to consider, such as: anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, behavioral and academic needs, and coping with parent divorce/separation. For clients to have successful outcomes in counseling, I think it is important to build trusting relationships, empower clients, explore risks, and focus on solutions. To best serve clients, there may be times a referral to another provider is needed.
